The “Appenzeller Bier” has evolved in a purely natural and cultural environment , in the country where the fairy tale of Heidi was born many years ago. The preparation process has been carried out with the utmost care and attention since 1886 in the Brauerei Locher AG, with ingredients typical of beer and characterized by water from a source. The beer rests in the tranquillity of deep, ancient caves excavated from the rock.

Special and absolutely unique the Original Hanfblüte Bier is the union of these ingredients, brewed traditionally with the high quality extracts obtained from the hemp leaves and flowers. This results in a class of beer which is unique and exceptional in it’s concept, and above all taste. After a maturity of at least 8 weeks, the beer reaches it’s most awaited moment: giving pleasure to those who appreciate it.

From a tradition that includes beer as a precious commodity, it has been re-born with the aroma of hemp leaves and flowers.

Present for centuries in the history and ancient culture, our product wants to preserve a valuable tradition: beer and an exclusive item, the hemp gives birth to the Original Hanfblüte Bier. The pleasure of beer is today, more than at any other time a tradition that knows no geographical boundaries, and gives us the feeling of unity.

The experience we have gained in these last 10 years from our participation in International Fairs, has allowed the product to prevail against substitute ones: the Original Hanfblüte Bier has distinguished itself for quality and taste from the few alternatives submitted. Although good results were expected, the magnetism with which the Original Hanfblute Bier has captured public interest is incredible.

It is therefore not careless to assume a request from a considerable section of the market, that includes individuals belonging to different (groups): hemp, hitherto considered taboo, stands out for it’s real beneficial quality and taste, embracing a classic product and a large beer consumption in order to obtain a marriage which attracts young and old, experts and simply thirsty people, men and women, rebels and traditionalists, and so on.
